Even though Norah is just a little gal and far too young to appreciate Christmas, I was very excited about sharing the holiday with her. Bryan and I set up a tree for the first time (compliments of my Grandma -- THANKS :) and it felt like we were starting our own family traditions. We have a fire place here at Alpha Phi so I decided to make Christmas stockings to hang up. It took me pretty much all month and I kind of monopolized the library at our house but most of the Phi's lived at Olin in December anyway so it worked out.
Stockings from left to right for Bryan, myself and Norah. These are two fantastic Phi's, Allison and Alex respectively, with their matching stockings.
We left for Denver to spend Christmas with my side of the family on the 23rd. We were all together in the same house for the first time in 2 years and Norah and Evelyn (my niece) met for the first time. It was just for a few days because my brothers in law both have actual jobs that they have to do but we made the most of it. We saw the lights at the Denver Botanic Garden (alas I forgot my camera), watched a slide show of our childhood, drank my dad's homemade root beer, ate my mom's amazing food, and played three rounds of settlers of cataan.

Norah is such a beautiful girl. It looks like you guys had a great holiday break!
I LOVE the stockings! You are so crafty. What pattern did you use? I hoped to do stocking this year but was too intimidated. Now I am feeling inspired again.
All the stockings look awesome! You did a much better job actually using yours than I did... And I'm impressed you guys were able to get such a good family picture with TWO babies involved! Kudos!
Loving your Christmas pictures. Your family is so much fun. PS: Norah is darling. Love her clothes!
I remember your dad's root-beer!!
