My side of the family enjoyed a weekend all together at the YMCA of the Rockies near Rocky Mountain National Park. This was our third time having a weekend family reunion in the mountains in a YMCA cabin and our second time at the YMCA of the Rockies. We were able to stay in the same cabin, the Speargrass cabin. Each of the cabins are donated or "adopted" by generous donors and every time we have gone I've felt grateful to the Y for the wonderful work it does to strengthen families and communities and all the donors that support the Y.
I didn't take as many pics this time but highlights of the trip were cousins playing outside and inside together, making and enjoying meals together, seeing wild turkeys and plenty of elk around the Y grounds, two gentle hikes, and horseback riding for everyone but Andrew and Freya who were too small and had to do pony rides instead and their moms who attended them. The last time we were at this cabin I was very pregnant with Freya and this time Ashley was very pregnant with her third baby.
