Made with Love by Mimi
For some, Christmas comes but once a year. For Norah it comes about once a month. Yesterday Norah received a package full of new clothes from her Mimi. She hasn't had a chance to try them all on quite yet but she donned a Mimi original today to look her best for the return of the Phi’s. This outfit is head to toe (including the bow) a Mimi design. The flower power was great for her morning workout.

Calf Raises
Throwing some punches (self defense training)
And of course, choking the baby (self defense training)

Norah's First Christmas
Even though Norah is just a little gal and far too young to appreciate Christmas, I was very excited about sharing the holiday with her. Bryan and I set up a tree for the first time (compliments of my Grandma -- THANKS :) and it felt like we were starting our own family traditions. We have a fire place here at Alpha Phi so I decided to make Christmas stockings to hang up. It took me pretty much all month and I kind of monopolized the library at our house but most of the Phi's lived at Olin in December anyway so it worked out.
Stockings from left to right for Bryan, myself and Norah. These are two fantastic Phi's, Allison and Alex respectively, with their matching stockings.
We left for Denver to spend Christmas with my side of the family on the 23rd. We were all together in the same house for the first time in 2 years and Norah and Evelyn (my niece) met for the first time. It was just for a few days because my brothers in law both have actual jobs that they have to do but we made the most of it. We saw the lights at the Denver Botanic Garden (alas I forgot my camera), watched a slide show of our childhood, drank my dad's homemade root beer, ate my mom's amazing food, and played three rounds of settlers of cataan.
